Just read this one for storytime and it went over very well. A fun rhyming and counting book with a ton of dinosaurs. What's not to love? Would definitely recommend for the dinosaur loving kid in your home.

Though a great look at four women bonding over life, love and hair care, there wasn't much more to the story than that. I would've loved to see a more in-depth plot, but still a good read.

The author and illustrator clearly have a mastery of the Lovecraftian horrors their spoofing. Though the story kind of wanders at times and I didn't find it particularly funny, it was still a cute and creepy read.

Though you'd have to be somewhat familiar with the characters in order to get the full picture, this feature length tale of a new mission for Ciel and his butler is a must see for the series. It's silly at times but that's part of the Black Butler charm. It boasts stunning animation, ghoulish and gruesome moments, major character development and awesome action scenes. Yup, this is my favorite book of 2024. When I first heard the premise, about holiday kingdoms and a queer romance between my two favorite holidays, I was hooked. The book did not disappoint at all, with interesting and fleshed out characters, smart dialogue and narration, funny and romantic moments, some real stakes with royal and family troubles. and some real growth from the people involved.
