In New Zealand, Mira Bunting is the founder of a guerilla gardening collective known as Birnam Wood that plants crops wherever no will notice. For years, the group has struggled financially. Mira thinks she has found a solution to their problems when she hears about an abandoned farm as occupying the farm would mean a chance at solvency at last. But American billionaire Robert Lemoine has already purchased the land to supposedly construct his end-times bunker. He makes them an offer that would set them up for the long term. But as their ideals and ideologies are tested, is it possible for them to trust one another?
