VaughanPL: National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day

In June, Canada celebrates National Indigenous History Month all month long, and National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21. This year is the 25th anniversary of celebrating the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. The following materials have been chosen in celebration, but also to learn about reconciliation efforts, and the effects that Canadian colonialism has had on these peoples throughout history.
