The book is helpful in helping the reader build better habits. James Clear makes it easy to understand the science behind atomic habits through the use of metaphors. He talks about how results should not be visible right away, and it takes time to get results. Also, he explains how a habit tracker will help you track progress, and at the same time, be a source of motivation. If you see yourself doing well, you will want to keep on going. Another concept he illustrates is that Goldilocks rule. To summarize, the Goldilocks rule is a rule of in order to be able to build good habits, the habit should get a little harder every time you perform it. A nice touch to the book is that Clear includes a short summary of all the important details he goes over at the end of each chapter.
