When I first saw this back in 1988 in the movie theatre, I was barely out of my teen years, so this movie wasn't as enjoyable to me as the other John Hughes classics. However, now that I'm older I can relate to the film a lot more. It's the touching, funny and lighthearted story of a young couple going through the trials and tribulations of pregnancy. Probably one of John Hughes best films (and more "grownup" films), Kevin Bacon is wonderful as Jake, the reluctant father-to-be. Keep your eye out because this movie is filled with celebrities; especially at the ending as the credits roll.
