Yet another book, among many, as to why military academies should be abolished. They serve no valid purpose, excepting as mental masturbatory clubs for the cognitively stunted. The best officers never go through the academy system, although they may gain the fastest or most conducive rank. And military academies - - historically speaking to the present - - tend not endow morality or noble purpose - - and the exceptionalism they do promote is contrary to the mandatory groupthink of the services.
