This is one of my favourite books by Kasie West. I liked how the two main characters did not fall in love immediately. They became friends in the beginning and then became a couple and that’s where all the romance happens. Although I felt like the characters were flat and they did not have much of a personality to be honest. There was a love triangle which was entertaining, but the ending was not unexpected. The plot was a little bit unrealistic, but I enjoyed it very much. There were more themes than just romance, there was child neglect, loneliness, and trust. Just like Kasie West’s other books the romance was cute and adorable. There are elements of mental health in this book, so I do not recommend this book to the people who are not comfortable reading this. The main character was popular, but she was smart and mature, and the thing I liked the best about her was that she was not the typical mean girl. This book taught me to not judge people too quickly, you might not know what they could be going through. If you like fluffy romances I recommend this book to you. 4/5. @Nat of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Getting trapped in the library is a childhood dream come true for some people. Imagine the days spent in a building full of books, with no responsibilities, without your parents nagging you to finish your homework or chores. This situation is exactly what the main character, Autumn, went through. For some stupid idiotic reason, she managed to get herself trapped in a library. The author, Kasie West, managed to take an idea like this and spin it into some tedious, cliché filled novel. Everything about this book is so unrealistic and predictable, it was clear at the beginning who Autumn would fall for. To make matters worse, Autumn is such an irritating brat, I couldn’t even finish this book because she made me sooo ANGRY. Seriously, who’s stupid enough to get trapped in the library? Rating 1/5 Stars - @Vaseline of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Autumn is locked in the local library for the long weekend, with her is none other than the school troublemaker Dax. Not exactly her first choice when she could have been at a bonfire with her crush who has finally been showing her some interest. Autumn thinks it's going to be a long and awkward weekend until she finds out that Dax isn't as bad as everyone has made him out to be. I only got through a couple chapters before deciding not to finish this book because the concept just didn't interest me, although I’ve loved all of the other books that Kasie has written. Just the idea of being locked in a public building with no way out for a whole weekend just seemed really unrealistic. Might try it again at another time but not for now. - @Fallenangelhushhush of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
