Ozu-esque and elegiac. Film begins and ends with the same image: a snowy scene with a tiny old lady at the left-bottom corner, in which she's the focus. At the end, we understand that she's mourning her husband's passing, with the mound of earth across the field. The silk-Benetton-colour-coordinated costumes did not fit the docu-format, YET what a charming couple!
