I, Who Did Not Die

a Sweeping Story of Loss, Redemption, and Fate
Dec 15, 2017
this is the most fascinating and moving book I have read in a long time - and I have read a lot of books. I knew(or thought I knew) the story from cbc interviews but I was unprepared for the feelings this book left me with. The very worst and the very best of humankind all in one book which should be read by everyone in the world. It gave me insights into middle eastern culture and a sympathy for the situation its inhabitants are in. A state cant control religion but religion can certainly control a state and if it does the state (and its people) are effed.
