The #1 bestselling author Iris Johansen delivers the first in a trilogy that will begin to answer questions that have haunted her legion of fans for over a decade, in her newest novel of breathtaking suspense

Eve Duncan's mission in life is to bring closure to the families who have experienced the agony of a missing child. As a forensic sculptor, she is able to piece together bones, create a face, and bring an identity to a child who would have otherwise gone unidentified. Eve is brilliant, driven, and tormented--because her own daughter, Bonnie, was taken from her years ago. But now, with the help of a CIA agent, Eve has uncovered some startling new evidence: A man with a connection to Bonnie that had been all but buried. His name is John Gallo. He's from Eve's own past. His whereabouts are unknown. And he might just be the missing piece to the puzzle that has haunted Eve for years...

The Eve Duncan series when she was a forensic sculptor and solved mysteries / crimes were great. This new fantasy / supernatural direction is ridiculous and a mess. If I wanted to read science fiction I would do so. Terrible!! Horrible! Never again. Kristi & Abby Tabby

Seriously, hasn't she flogged this horse to death?

Not very impressed but did finish it. The story line is to long and boring.
Need to step up her adventures!! Will not read #2 Quinn & #3 Bonnie will be a hit and miss read just to find out what really happened to Bonnie. Oct 2017

Very disappointed. The violence & sexual antics takes away from the story line and Eve's goal to find her daughter Bonnie. Bonnie is the true heroine.

Not as good as some of the older Iris Johansen books.

Seriously? This needed to be the first book of a Trilogy? Good thing we have libraries. I wasted a weekend but saved myself $30.

Fast read, which I like. Yet somehow the charactors aren't as deep as they used to be.

Excellent read. Gives the reader more insight on Eve Dincan's story.
