This book is a classic! It has lasted the test of time and is routinely requested by second grade teachers for the lesson in sharing and how to divide a batch of cookies :)

This wonderful story engages children and also provides a great math lesson. Lots of repetition and opportunities for children to interact. They enjoy the suspense at the end, realizing that if the door is opened, the results could be disappointing. A fun twist at the end as Grandma has baked more cookies!
