This is a World War II documentary originally produced as a motion picture in 1994.
Liberation started in 1942, when the struggling Allies began envisioning an invasion of Europe.
The film reveals the strategies and deception on all sides, while vividly depicting the struggle on the battlefield, exploring those fateful years in panoramic detail.
Most of all, however, this remarkable film shows the compelling stories of the Jews of Europe, recounting their tragedy, courage, resistance and survival.
It is a fascinating yet chilling documentary.
