Among the really good episodes are "Lend a Hand", featuring Alan Alda, of course, but also his father, Robert Alda, and his half brother, Antony.
"Are you now, Margaret" has Houlihan being suspected of Communist leanings by a member of the McCarthyites in Washington, D.C. Anyone too young to remember the House Un-American Activities Committee of the '50's should watch this chilling episode.
But the best one, for me, is "Yessir, that's our baby" in which the MASH crew tries to find a way to save a half-American, half-Korean baby from a terrible fate in Korea. The writers and producers in the series always seemed to do a lot of research, and they did for this one. The episode was broadcast in late December, 1979, just after I had adopted a little girl from Korea. My whole family was in tears by the end.

Super season! It was hard to see Radar go, but what a great story! Klinger later filled in for Radar (which made some interesting story lines!).Goodbye Radar, pts 1 & 2 remains one of the greats!
