Stir of Echoes is one of my favorite movies, so when I heard about Kevin Bacon's latest horror movie I got excited. Turns out, maybe I shouldn't have. It's not bad necessarily, but it could have been so much better than it was. Everything was just okay... the acting, the story, even the house.
If you're a Kevin Bacon and horror movie fan with a lot of patience and you watch this with lowered expectations, you'll probably enjoy yourself.

Awful, really awful waste of time. Stole every classic horror story trope and supplied it with the worst acting. Skip this movie!

This is a mildly enjoyable supernatural film. The plot is somewhat derivative ("The Shining," among others), and fairly predictable. Like many subpar movies which fail to fully engage the viewer, we are not given sufficient cause to care about the fate of the central characters. The principal point of interest in the film is the house(s) in which the film unfolds, and even that aspect of the story is insufficiently explored. If you are looking for a story to chill your spine or to give you the occasional proper start, this is not the one.

What a confusing waste of time. I've always liked Kevin Bacon and most of his work but, all I wanted was to see the story I thought he was going to tell. Why was Amanda Seyfried, even in this film. The child actor couldn't act but at least she tried. How many, many films have we watched, where they leave and end up back where they started. I wish I would've had that option. Pointless. I Should Have Left.

Slow, plodding and uninteresting. Very confusing at times. It was a total bore.

It started out ok, then it wasn't. Not what I expected out of a Kevin Bacon Movie. Yes, it was disappointing.
