I watched this movie solely because of the cast, particularly Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Famke Janssen and Cush Jumbo. It isn't my favourite genre and I cannot make a comparison to the book as I haven't read it, but this film certainly held my attention and didn't disappoint. There were some gruesome scenes so I certainly wouldn't watch it with children around but the scenes were brief and were important to the story. Filming in London, Sweden and Norway added authenticity to the story as did the international supporting cast.
