(Gasket) Now who the heck are these losers!?
(Fender) We, Sir-
(Gasket) I'm a woman.
(Crank) OUCH.
(Ratchet) Now, let's get to the business of sucking every loose penny out of Mr. and Mrs. Average Knucklehead!
(Fender) *to Rodney* Just stick with me, kid, I know this place like the back of my hand. *stares at hand for a second* Hey, that's new!
(Fender) *to Rodney, upon meeting him* Inside of you is a fashion model just waiting to throw up!
(Piper) Did I miss the butt-whoopin?
(Others) Uh...no.
(Crank) In fact, you're a little bit early.
*wall falls, a robot army stands behind Piper*
(Piper) Then let's get started!
(Fender) Testify, sister!

Add a CommentI thought this movie was surprisingly colourful and vibrant, and slightly older looking for a world centering on tech and robots. I personally envision a very tech-oriented world as one without smiling and happy robots that are super colorful. However, the colourful nature of the robots was mood-lifting and I appreciated it. In this movie, a young robot named Rodney is an inventor seeking a job at a company that was once led by Bigweld. I say “once was” because Bigweld sadly does not hold that position anymore. With Rodney’s idol out of the company, what will be his next step?

This is a super swag movie.
This movie is extremely funny, and even my DAD liked it. XD A cute family film for pretty much all ages.
An alright animated film, excellent voice cast. Neither truly awful or terribly good.
The perfect movie to watch with children. Robin Williams is terrific and the story is fast-moving and very funny.
My 4 year old loved this movie! The movie is fun, appropriate and captivating for preschool kids.
It's been 5 years since I last saw Robots. I took it out for my 3 year old who really liked it and that's the most important thing. It is pretty age appropriate for fairly young kids. The animation holds up very well, it is a fun story, nice main character, and decent voice acting. Two major problems for me though. Firstly, and this problem depends on how you feel about Robin Williams. I hate his camp but if you enjoy it then all the power to you. At least he is in animated form. Secondly, there are a bunch of very dated pop culture references. Watch a Pixar movie or most dreamworks movies (except for the later Shrek ones) and the old ones hold up great for both adults and kids as they are timeless. But Robots has for example terrible Britney Spears references and that kind of things which will date this movie really badly in the future. Still, your young kid isn't going to care.
robots is clever and intelligently made it. it looks nice and will keep you entertained until the end
When Robin Williams voice comes through the speakers in an animated film - you know its going to be funny! Well done.
