Just appreciating Jackie Chan when I can watch him. This movie wasn't all that but you're always anticipating his next one.

any Jackie Chan movie is a great one to see

The sci-fi progressively gets more ludicrous and actions/stunts sillier almost from the beginning to end. In between, actors verbally explained some of the head-scratching subplots with flash-backs but unconvincingly in mho. Nice locations and views of Taipei and Sidney though.

Rated 3/10. I'm a Jackie Chan fan, but this has got to be the worst movie with him in it - ever! Very disappointed after a lengthy wait on hold.

The silly "plot" was all over the place. Convoluted is the word that comes to mind.

Then, there's this arch enemy that flys around in a space ship. [massive eyeroll] Costume ripoffs from Star Trek and Star Wars.

Terrible acting, terrible dialogue, terrible sound quality on this film. Production was a joke.

My rating is for the action and stunts.

Unfortunately, and I hate to say this, NOT recommended.

Terrible film. Terrible acting. Not typical JC film. Was so bad, we turned it off after half hour.

Only watched it cause of Jackie Chan and Show Lo. The humor from Lo was great as always. Action was ok, but not the classic Jackie Chan style.

***For reflection after the film... contains spoiler***
Good science:
Such superior regeneration ability is attributed to the activation of the regenerative genes from the starfish. Each recombined cell contains the entire genom, and fuses to other tissue to rapidly regrow the missing part.
(Largely true per National Geographic:
Beyond their distinctive shape, sea stars are famous for their ability to regenerate limbs, and in some cases, entire bodies. ... Some require the central body to be intact to regenerate, but a few species can grow an entirely new sea star just from a portion of a severed limb.)
Silly sci-fi:
We have developed the first generation mechanical heart to match the rapid regeneration feature of the bioengineered blood. If the experiment succeeds, the bioroid with the mechanical heart and the bioengineered blood, will be the immortal warrior of the future.
