Very interesting. The art was tough to decipher at times, and the story was a tad murky, but boy howdy, when it got going it got going. The themes of family and mental health were really well done, and I really ended up rooting for some of the characters. And it was suitably creepy.

It's not every day I read a book that scares me and it's even more rare that I find a graphic novel that gets under my skin so deeply that it actually makes getting to sleep a trying experience. Wytches is exactly the type of comic I've been wanting for YEARS. It's unforgiving, visceral, and does true horror so well it's in a world of its own. Family dynamic is something that is so easy to create a genuine fear, yet I find it so rarely used, at least effectively. If you have any interest in horror at all, give this one a try. It's sure not to disappoint tried-and-true spook fans.
