This book made me question everything. It was one of those books that you get so sucked into, that you forget where you are.

One Of Us Is Lying is a modern mystery novel about four teenagers (Bronwyn, Addy, Nate and Cooper) who witnessed the death of their acquaintance Simon Kelleher, known as "The Outcast", while in detention. These teenagers play an important role in Simon's mysterious death-- they were in the same room as him when he had an allergic reaction and died shortly after, and they may be some of the only people (alive) who can figure out what really happened to him.

This book it's like something I have never read before. When I first started reading the book I was like I'm not going to like this, but as I got more into the book I didnt wanna put it down, It gave supense really well I couldnt wait to figure out who was the killer along. It's definitely diffrent' it gives 4 diffrent point of views on who they think the killer is.....I definetly recommend this book to anyone even if you dont enjoy mystery.

The concept of this was fantastic. I guessed the killer pretty early on but there were still some twists that surprised me. I really liked the story overall but there was way too much fluff added. Even the ending had a lot of unnecessary blubber. If it weren't for all the boring extras added in to make the book longer, I probably would have given this a 5 star review. Karen McManus is a very talented author. I appreciated the cleverness of this book.

A great modern YA murder mystery. 5 students walk into detention and only 4 leave. Someone's lying. Who is it?

Well paced and interesting enough to keep you reading, but not anything of substance that will stand out to you a month later.
