Contrived plot, cartoon characters, synthetic thrills: what a waste of time.

Not bad at all/ Sometimes a little wordy with descriptions you don't really need, ( but don't they all), so you flip through the Minutiae and then get on with the story.. Overall a good story. Finished it in two days,.

I am a fan of the travelogue style of mystery and this fits the bill, the plot line may occasionally be a bit far-fetched but the central character is interesting and the story moves right along.

Christopher Reich has delivered another great novel. A terrific blend of unusual characters, relationships old and renewed, a great story line of thieves, crimes, cops & robbers, high-end automobiles, and corruption, and a staring role for Simon Riske who has a weird personal story of bad-guy, prison, and something of a resurrection as a good-guy. Great read, well crafted. Left me wondering if a sequel is in the works. I do wish he had finished off a sub-plot around the Russian leadership, but alas......... I really liked it otherwise and well worth reading. Reich is one of the better thriller writers of today, for sure.
