Well, it's been a long time since I've read this series but I think it was paced a little better than the last one. What I love this series for most is how emotionally rewarding it is.

I love Hazel. I love that she's coming into her own and really growing into a tiny lil character. I love this lil family, I can't wait to see how the stakes have been raised and what they get up to next.

Still awesome, love the characters still but couldn't give it 4 stars like the others, maybe it was too short... there needed to be a bit more story in this one. Maybe the next!

Hazel finally begins to come a bit closer to the forefront of her story, though much still focuses on the complex storm of characters whirling around her. Another stellar entry in the series.

Saga continues to amaze. Fiona Staples' artwork is like a second language adding layers to the story without being overly intricate or overstating the case.
Characters come and go, but the core-- a flawed, interspecies, family and their forbidden love child feels like a real family. Just one with wings and/or horns. This is adult fiction--there's sex, drug use, and a bit of gore.

Vaughan and Staples continue to knock it out of the park on the best ongoing series out there.

This volume feels like...taking a breath. A lot of setup is taking place, getting characters where they need to be. Less action and plot development than previous volumes. I'll be interested in the payoff, especially what results from the introduction of Petrichor, who The Will is going to see (Sophie? Gwendolyn?), or what Marko's mom is planning in prison.

Teachers always promise that students are in a "safe place," but most of us figure out that's a lie pretty fast. My very first fire drill was all the confirmation I needed that the worst can happen anywhere, anytime.

You'll never understand the way the world really works until you surround yourself with people from all sorts of weird backgrounds.

We're all aliens to someone. Even among our own people, most of us still feel like complete foreigners from time to time.
