This is one of those films where just about everyone of the action heros are drawn out of the nursing homes. I've seen the faces of names unremembered in many films over the years. The story line is supposed to a true one but it never came across that way to me.

O.K. adaptation of real-life story during WWII, but one might think that with the stellar cast of Peck, Niven, Moore, and Macnee this would have been a classic! Instead we get a tiny bit of espionage and a 20 minute action scene at the end with lots of shooting and exploding ships. Most fun perhaps is hearing Gregory Peck attempt a British accent. Overall, simply underwhelming!
