Theoretically I should have liked this film. I like Christmas movies, I like female-led comedies, I like many of the actresses involved in this film. But I found this film loathsome, unfunny and painful to watch. So many of the characters were just so unlikeable. I'm a busy working mom, but I... Read More »

Add a CommentSilly comedy sequel of Bad Moms. Kathryn Hahn is always on her game, and Kenny G steals his cameo! Overall an ok holiday movie!
Considering respect for Christians and the Jesus Christ's a star that was born in Bethlehem and the true meaning of Christmas - this movie is utterly a disaster with blasphemy!.
I ejected the movie after the the first words of blasphemy! - that was about two minutes into the movie!
Hilarious mindless comedy for adults. Hartley scenes are all for the females .... Never a dull moment. Smothering mothers exist. It did well in the box office. The bonus material offers more chuckles.
Sill good christmas fun
Amazing, possibly some truth to holiday madness.
I had seen this movie already and enjoyed it, but then went and watched Bad Moms. minor error. The first one left me with a few unanswered questions so I went ahead and watched the Christmas one again, and as much as things were cleared up for me I found this to be a lot raunchier that I remembered. Without a doubt there were plenty of yucks, and sexual innuendo galore. Looking for something deep and soul searching? this ain't it, but still, it pretty much came as advertised and left me feeling like the next installment should be coming any time soon.
I was surprised by how much I loved Bad Moms. I was also surprised at how much I did not love Bad Mom's Christmas. The story line is stilted, and Susan Sarandon & Christine Baranski seem like they should switch roles. But it brings the obvious laughs, and it's good for if you just want to shut your brain off and enjoy dirty jokes.
Theoretically I should have liked this film. I like Christmas movies, I like female-led comedies, I like many of the actresses involved in this film. But I found this film loathsome, unfunny and painful to watch. So many of the characters were just so unlikeable. I'm a busy working mom, but I did not identify with any of these people. The characters were shrill, narcissistic, shallow and often unnecessarily vulgar. I want to support female-led films, but surely the industry can do better than this.
This movie is about a group of usually incredible moms who decide to do their own thing this holiday year and get a little crazy, far away from their children, husbands, and mothers. The action/adventure/comedy film stars Mila Kunis, Justin Hartley, Christine Baranski, Kathryn Hahn, and more in this fairly hilarious and entertaining film. The movie is intentionally outlandish as it is meant to be fun, which definitely makes it harder to judge the poor acting and outrageous storyline. The movie is by no means incredible or well-written, but it is good enough to laugh with and enjoy. I would rate this movie 3/5 stars. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
Somewhat interesting. Yes they were bad moms and now their moms show up who are worse moms. This all happens during the holidays. That is the premise. There were a couple of laughs. Some of the acting from the supporting cast, especially the children was atrocious. I found that more offensive than the other reviews complaining about a kid swearing in the film.
