LOL! Thought I am the only one having trouble following the interlaced plot lines (and not distracted because of the three beautiful actresses who were often topless,) but as the review at rogerebert.com (Rating: 3/4) stated: "To describe the plot is not possible in a limited space, and besides, I'm not sure I'm up to it. I doubt that anyone seeing this film will completely understand it after one viewing, but that doesn't mean you have to see it twice--it simply means that confusion is part of the effect." Too much effort to be very entertaining but a good film overall.

Pay attention to the dialogue as this phone conversation near the beginning:
I'll take a few days off and we'll take a trip. To your island. You can show me. How about it? Just the two of us. It's calm this time of year. We'll swim and lay in the sun.
-I don't want to go to the island.
I don't understand you. You always wanted to go back. Relax, honey. Don't worry. Look, wait up for me and tell me tonight. I'll listen to anything you say. Is that why you're so screwed up? Something about the island?
-I'm sorry, I can't tell you about it.

She changed in the end, and chose her mom over me. Can't blame her. A mother always comes first.
===
You're crying.
-Tears of happiness, which is what I am from now on.
===
The first advantage is at the end of the story. It doesn't finish, it falls in a hole. And the story starts again halfway. The other advantage, and the biggest, is that you can change course along the way... If you let me. If you give me time.
