A celebration of the 80's, middle school hijinks, and monster movies, this is the perfect show to watch from late October to December.

I lllllloooovvvvvvveeeee this show! It is amazing! I am now an '80s fan, arcade fan, and... Clash fan! I can't wait for season 3 :)!

Spot-on 80's references, strong female characters and realistic depictions of middle school children make this a winner the whole family can enjoy! Good music is a bonus.

Loved it. It takes a handful of archetypes and expectations from other films (esp those from the time it's set) and either overturns them or undercuts them nicely.

Smart show made by smart people.

"Mom's away the mice will watch Stranger Things!"
I've been watching Stranger Things with my younger twin sister and my dad and today we're moving on to episode 4 of Stranger Things! It's been one episode per evening but today we're seeing if we can watch two! My sister and I have been making many theories per day and our dad won't say if we're right or not ( he's watched it already ). I don't understand why people say this is a more adult film I'm ten ( almost eleven oh that's funny!) and I don't think it's that scary sure there is some content that's not really meant for kids but just watch Crazy Rich Asians, Romeo & Juleit 1996, Miss Perigines Home for Peculiar Children, and five minutes of Birdbox then Stranger Things would just be a mixture of all of those films! P.S. You must watch this but mabye not at 10:00 pm ( you might not be able to sleep!)

Good series- plays with 80's film tropes and sci-fi in a reasonably well done manner.

A fun series set in 1983, well-acted and directed by all involved, if a bit slow in some places.

Loved this - seems like a bit of a combo between x-files and goonies (quite a bit more adult, may be a bit much for little kids). Gang of misfits banding together. Mother is a little crazy, cop isn't a very nice guy (alchoholic, sleazy), the nice family not the nicest - bit turn from the average family shows in the 60s/70s.

Flawless. Once you read and watch Stephen King's It, you cannot unsee the striking similarities. Also, parallels with Stand By Me, Goonies, the list goes on. The mystery is so well paced, I had zero idea where they were going until it was revealed. I will be getting this for myself.
