This book can be read along to the music for "Froggy went A-courtin" or "Crawdad Hole" - it's a piggyback to these songs. From my coworker : https://mudcat.org/

Dark, depressing, and vengeful.

A great read-aloud for kindergarten (and even grades 1 and 2) and preschool groups. Kids can chime in with the dramatic exclamations of dismay (oh, no!) as the animals each seem in danger of being eaten by tiger.

Fun to read. Worked both for younger and older children (ages 2-6)

Think it is brilliant. The illustrations are engaging and the story is fun and interactive too.

Kirkus Reviews calls this "an instant classic." We couldn't agree more!

Some very bold illustrations paint this humourous story. Each time they say "oh, no!" you just want to say it with them.
