I really enjoyed this movie a lot. Tom Holland's Spiderman was very endearing and likeable. The movie was a breath of fresh air. I found the movie very funny and very entertaining and I thought it tied well into the rest of the Marvel universe. Spiderman is an underdog throughout most of this ... Read More »

My very first comic was the first Marvel publication of Spiderman..it was a gift from my cousin. It was in Amazing Fantasy; didn't even have his own title yet. At one time Spiderman was renowned to be more popular than Sherlock Holmes; eventually becoming the most popular fictional character of all time! This feature misses the mark beyond measuring. The character of Peter Parker is petty, egocentric, atypical of today's 'damaged youth'. I guess this is just another casualty of the 'Hollywood Machine' that had to add their 'creative spin/interpretation' of characters that have been already well defined/developed, and loved by generations of devoted fans. I place this alongside the VERY sad, and poorly done Logan film. It is a shame that two of my favorite Marvel characters have been so sadly transfigured to fit the framework of social trendiness, and the egos of writers, directors, and studios that cannot see beyond their fame and fortune. I have tried several times to view this film in its' totality, but (out of frustration and disbelief) have only been able to tolerate it in pieces. This is almost as bad as the 60's Batman tv series. The only thing they did well was the age of the character, and the costume. The bad guys were better represented. I can't wait to ignore the next installment.

The best part of "Infinity War" is Spider-Man, and the best part of "Spider-Man" Homecoming is MJ (Zendaya).

This was a good movie. There are some aspects of this movie that differ from the comic book (ex: his aunt is a young 20 something). Overall it was a good story line and ties in with the other avenger movies.

This movie was amazing, but nothing compared to the original movie take on Spidey. Just saying.

Childish, gimmicky, fun, Marvel has a great formula going on, Michael Keaton stole it, acting-wise.

I really liked this, although I never anticipated watching it... I always thought they would never get "my" Spider-Man right, especially since they had failed so hard and put me off forever by casting Tobey Squick McGuire ages ago.

But then I liked this S-M in Avengers: Infinity War, and realized there was a whole movie with him like this -- and I realized it was *that* Tom Holland, the one whose dancing videos on YouTube I have enjoyed so much.

The movie was readily available at the library so I got it out and liked it (although it made me like Tony Stark less, and I was already meh on him). It was a joyful, acrobatic movie, entertaining even without the save-the-world plot.

Gave me a real bout of vertigo with the scenes at the top of the Washington Monument, and this was just from watching it on my laptop -- I can't imagine what it would have been like in the theatre or with an even slightly larger screen.

Did they do that scene really well or am I becoming more sensitive to heights as I get older?, I wondered throughout. I used to love "heights" as a kid -- i.e., flying, going to to the top of ferris wheels, rollercoasters, tall buildings, being on high lookouts, balconies, hay mows -- but maybe I am losing that.

Wizardry. That's the only word I can think of to describe this "amazing" movie.

Homecoming is easily in my top five MCU movies and the story was woven into the universe beautifully. As far as the performances go, I loved Keyton's take on the main villain, Vulture. His motivation and ultimate decent into evil was a welcome surprise. As for Tom Holland, what can I say that hasn't been said? He was perfect in the role. While we saw him in Civil War, he showed that he could make this role his own - with a little "fatherly" advice and tough love from Downey's Iron Man.

Looking forward to another outing with Peter Parker in the near future.

Best Spiderman ever. Action, character, story, directing, special effects, everything. Most enjoyable Spiderman ever. Previous ones were great too, but this one is better than great. Good family movie.

It’s about time PETER PARKER was established as a teen in school again. I have always like pretty much anything Spider-Man related, and this movie did not disappoint for the most part with the exception of his best friend knowing!

But overall a great movie!

Peter Parker: So, to become an Avenger, are there like trials or an interview?

Tony Stark: You just don't do anything I would do... and definitely don't do anything I wouldn't do. There's a little gray area in there and that's where you operate.

[reaches over Peter]

Peter Parker: [puts arm around Tony] Oh.

Tony Stark: That's not a hug. I'm just grabbing the door for you.

Many quotes in IMDb including this:
How do you think your buddy Stark paid for that tower, or any of his little toys? Those people, Pete, those people up there, the rich and the powerful, they do whatever they want. Guys like us, like you and me... they don't care about us. We build their roads and we fight all their wars and everything. They don't care about us. We have to pick up after them. We have to eat their table scraps. That's how it is. I know you know what I'm talking about, Peter.
