Two slightly insane women decide they are in competition for something (town favorite? most bitchy?) and the gay side kick has fallen into his benefactor's the fantasy that they can speak Italian, have been well traveled, and are filthy rich. They can't, haven't and aren't. Some of it very funny, mostly just shook my head at how the British public view the aristocracy and try to copy what they imagine life is like for them. Farfetched happenings mixed in with daily slings and arrows for vanity and pride. Goofy and quirky.

Fun but eccentric series that may not appeal to everyone. Very British with some clever dialog. I enjoyed it so much that I've watched the series twice, over the years!
