I remember loving the single "Put it There" when it first played in the radio in 1990. Hearing it again after all these years, I love it even more. Indeed, all the tracks on this 2-disc set have Paul McCartney's signature sound--I can't define it in words, but I recognize it in the music. This album also has a kind of positivity to it; even the sad songs are brimming with energy and beauty.
This is one of those that grows on you as you listen to it. It's good, but not hit making Paul McCartney. I can tell that it is high quality by excellent musicians, just not spectacular.
