I really liked this book. The beginning may have been a bit slow but after that it was great. J.K Rowling really creates a world that you get absorbed into. Even though I know what happens in the series, parts were still surprising. A really interesting book.

I admit, when I read the book at first, I was all like, "How's this so famous? It's not even that good!" Actually, the whole first half of the book was like a chore to me. I didn't feel into the book and reading it became boring. But then the whole plot of the stone sucked me in and the ending was totally unpredictable. I really enjoyed the second half of the book, so I am definitely going to keep reading the series.
