Intriguing 2 disk series. Sometimes hard to follow. I thought telling the mentally challenged son where he was going was very strange and wondered why that was done. Even thought there were some odd turns of events, it was still an interesting story.

liked it up until the last episode. too many loose ends, leaving you expecting another "season" - there isn't one. way more questions than answers just detracted from the rest of the series for me. it seemed like those series that just run out of money and they do what they can to TRY to wrap up, but very poorly. i don't understand the reviews this got. i NEVER review movies/series but this one had me so mad at the way they left it i just had to say something.

ok, as i said at the beginning - up UNTIL the last episode it was really good. the acting is good, the story mostly good, especially because you figure you'll be getting at least some of the answers. spoiler - hardly any answers folks! watch at your own risk. i found an la times review that said it better than i have: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/la-et-st-undercover-review-20161116-story.html

hey fififorever, this is a MOVIE, things arent supposed to be so perfectly real...I mean is there really an Ironman? .
This series had me stumped and in a " what the heck" thought process for the first episode, then in a " ooooooooooh" for the second, then a " wow, whats going to happen next" thought until the end. All good positions to be in for a series to work..and this one did.
Excellent performances all around. Kind of a drama/thriller, and political/thriller all in one.
Well worth the watch.

I want to like this but Maya's character is unrealistic and Nick's life is just so insane it is not believable at all.

This is a really boring series of six episodes. In the first episode, we see a deathrow inmate's execution botched very badly, much too graphic than was necessary. In the second episode, we see that inmate's attorney (British) and her family. Her husband is an undercover cop who has been spying on her for 20 years. You would think all of this would create some kind of drama but it's done so poorly that no dots are ever connected. Couldn't finish the series and sorry we wasted our time on the first two episodes.

Another good one from the Brits. Really liked it right up to the end, which was somewhat unsatisfying. Billed as a miniseries, they left enough open to make me believe they MIGHT continue it as a regular series (or not). Very watchable.

Really very good. There is a lot of suspense, and the story is well written. Hard to describe and not do spoilers, but I highly recommend this British import told partially in the US. Every time I thought I might learn to like the husband, he just turned into a worse husband, father, and human being than I had thought. The lawyer, while very likable for her work with a condemn man, doesn't come off as much of a wife and mother but she is a powerhouse at work. Two of the kids are very likable, one is a spoiled brat. And apparently all policemen are corrupt and evil. It was really an "edge of your seat" story, and the flashbacks are labeled with the year to help viewers keep track. I expect season two will be even more thrilling.
