this book would do for a 3rd grade reading test to weed out those who need mental help vs those who are stupid. Stop putting this crap on my shelf

Author created logical magic system in a world hemmed in by economic, political & technological infrastructures.
No powerful evil wizard defeated by inferior sorcerer or non-entity with "good heart" here!
Bite sized easily digestible stories reason I preferred L.E. Modesitt, jr than overrated Tolkien
