A fantastic book that "modernizes" an already classic work. I am a huge fan of the original The Dark Knight Returns book, but always felt it looked dated (as most books do once they hit the age of 30). Removing the flat coloring and printing the book in black and white is a genius idea. It made an already dark, gritty book even darker and grittier. Highly recommended for anyone who's a fan of Frank Miller, Batman or comic books in general. I personally enjoy Miller's art and it really shines in this format. I hope more of his classic works get the black and white treatment.
