I would like to comment on the review posted by orlandotexas.

Devices that connect to the mifi as wifi clients do not infuence the mobile/LTE link already established between bell and the mifi. Where exactly is the very weak signal mentioned by the reviewer? Do the bars indicate the wifi or lte connection? Did he experience the lag anywhere or only in the john and bayview area? I believe the laptop had more success than the smartphones due to relaxed timings of its wifi adapter driver, either windows or linux. On the other hand, the wifi drivers of the smartphones (android or apple) probably employ stricter values, thus timing out at the smallest link quality drop. Very little information is provided.

With the above said, I am extremely satisfied with the mifi. Kudos to Vaughan Public Library for providing us with this wonderful device. I have one complaint though: 20 units could increase to 40.

If it not a good technology, then we need to take corrective actions to make it work.

I would not recommend borrowing this at all. It is so very slow and unreliable, at least in John and Bayview area in Markham. The signal is so weak that none of my smart phones can connect to it. Only my IBM laptop can see the very weak signal (barely 2-3 bars) and it take over an hour to load Gmail sign in page. This is ridiculous, at least in this area. It is much faster to walk to Library.
