Book is a mix of science and memoir. Many chapters begin with a description of some aspect of a plant which then morphs into a human story. Really liked Part 1, Chapter 7, which is 7:36 minutes short, a scientific description of leaves in poetic language. Read by the author, with emotion and thoughtfulness, and sometimes in a sad wistful tone.
Felt pretty meh on this one. Parts of her memoir were interesting and other parts it was pretty boring. I would not recommend the audio as the narrator's voice is way too quiet to be heard very well.
