This is a great story, with humor, sadness, and the amazing viewpoint from a dog named Enzo. One of my all time favorite books, and I recommend it to all my friends. You won't be disappointed.

It is one of the most touching stories! Enzo, a philosopher dog, is sometimes more human than people. One of my favorite books!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Enzo, the dog, is an amazing, observant participant in the life of this family. I found it to be totally accurate regarding the racing techniques and strategies also and this added greatly to my enjoyment. Life is hard but it is how we deal with the cards we are given is what this book shows us. A lovely read

Not as powerful as I'd hoped, but still worth reading. I guess while I enjoyed Enzo the dog's voice, I found his humans rather flat and boring. Of course I balled like a baby at the end.....

A great book for anyone living with cancer or facing any other kind of difficult life challenge. Enzo, the canine narrator, shares wisdom gained from his beloved owner, Denny, as well as from watching television. Auto racing is used as a metaphor for life. In keeping with this idea, racing in the rain can be dangerous and scary, but you can develop skills to be successful. Enzo has many wise thoughts such as “There is no dishonor in losing the race. There is only dishonor in not racing because you are afraid to lose.”

It's one of the best books I've ever read. I love Enzo anthropomorphized dog.

Excellent Documentary on the history and beliefs of Scientology. The film traces the movement from its initial beginning to the juggernaut it is today. A must see for anyone contemplating on becoming a member.

A tale in which Enzo, a loyal family dog, tells the story of his human family, how they nearly fell apart, and what he did to bring them back together. Enzo knows he is different from other dogs - he thinks and feels in nearly human ways. He has educated himself by watching extensive television, and by listening very closely to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up-and-coming race car driver.

Enzo knows he is different from other dogs' a philospher with a nearly human soul (and a obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television and listening carefully to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up and coming race car driver. Now in his twightly years, Enzo finds himself thinking back on his life with the Swift family, reflecting on all he has learned about the human conditions and how life, like racing, is about so much more than simply going fast.
