Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee just about own British horror files during the last half of the twentieth century. "The house that dripped blood" was supposedly written by Robert Bloch but it is so campy I can hardly believe it got produced. 5 stories surrounding the fate of people who dare enter the house will not interrupt my sleep. Well, maybe if I were one of the actors that my colleagues gave me an honest opinion of the film I might not sleep well or even want to be seen again. But the British are different lot than us Americans. I will say that the house depicted here is pretty Victorian and I can see someone looking to see if the shadows that move in my room at night aren't the stuff of my demise.
