Based on King's 2006 (January 9, 2007—Apple® today introduced iPhone) sci-fic novel but badly adapted and directed to become another generic apocalyptic zombie film. What a waste of source material!

we are all zombies because we have a phone that controls us. In the first ten mins you know the ending, nothing new here move along.

This movie is okay. Cell reminded me a little bit of the movie of Dreamcatcher.

This was the strangest movie I've every watched. To see Samuel L. Jackson in this movie, as talented as he is, is a crime. But, I remember him saying in an interview that he never turns down a job. It's apparent.

This is an awful movie. It is obviously Stephen King's take on modern technology turning us into zombies (literally). If you decide to watch it I suggest that you invite over some friends, purchase a ton of your favorite alcoholic beverage and everyone takes a drink whenever something stupid, silly, or nonsensical takes place. I guarantee you'll all be plastered by the 30 minute mark.

Terrible Stephen King's adaptation...

This is The Stand crossed with The Walking Dead. It's not bad, but it's certainly not King's best story or the best movie based on this work.

I mean, they might as well have "software updating, please stand by" blinking
on their foreheads.

I mean, what is a brain? It's just a big old hard drive. Organic circuitry. No one knows how many bytes. Like, giga to the power of googolplex, let's say. An infinity of bytes. If your brain were an info strip on a hard drive, it would say something like 2% in use, 98% available.

They're not just killing anymore, they're recruiting. The pulse is coming from their mouths now. They don't need phones anymore.

I had some bullshit job that I hated doing graphic design for some stupid company. But I hated myself for not having the balls to do what I wanted and I hated Sharon for loving me when I hated myself and all these warped, convoluted feelings. Sometimes I'd get home from work and I'd change into
my rock and roll T-shirt and I'd go to the bar and smoke weed and listen to Norwegian death metal like some teenager who wanted to blow up his high school. It was pathetic.
