wow - described as Nordic Noir- this psychological mystery peals back the layers of doscovery with a tension that keeps one turning the page. A single mother on welfare, the protagonist's earliest memory is becoming an orphan when her father murdered her mother. However, she is suppressing her memory of the event, and as a result suffers from PTSD, and is subject to fits. As she tries to keep custody of her boy she she tries to remember what happened.
