Produced and directed by Niobe Thompson in 2016, this is a 120-minute documentary about the odyssey of our ancestors.
It is really amazing that the Polynesians ocean-navigated with the traditional skills without charts and GPS to cross the Pacific Ocean to reach South America and to plant sweet potatoes.
It is a spectacular global journey following the footsteps out of Africa along a trail of fresh scientific clues.

This is just wonderful! It has the latest info on human evolution and migration; no doubt in time more recent info will be discovered. But I keep up fairly well, and this had things I didn't know.
Unfortunately, maybe because it's used so often, the condition of the discs caused them to skip over and over. I shall have to try watching it several times in order to see what I missed.

Very well done documentary. I was quite impressed. The information wasn't simplified like it is in other science TV programs. The show flowed easily, the people interviewed were interesting and it was a delightful time learning about the origins of humans and their migration patterns.
