I love these books. Sometimes sad but also laugh out loud funny. Make sure you read them in order. I'm still waiting for the last book.

**SPOILER ALERT!!**

I like this series but I have noticed that the author emphasizes the star struck lovers aspect quite a bit. I'm going to be starting the next book soon and hope that this aspect isn't tromped on too hard.

If you enjoy imaginative stories that are fun, fast paced, full of fascinating characters, based (not sure how accurately) on history as well as a possible future, then I recommend the series of Chronicles of St. Mary's. Be sure to start with the first book -- "Just One Damned Thing After Another"

After reading the 1st book I bought the first 2 books in the series then found 5 & 6 and her ebook short stories. I discovered you don't want to read these books out of order, really you don't. This series is so fantastic... I'm beginning to suspect Jodi is an escaped Historian living well in the UK turning her work experience into books.
