For as long as she can remember, Wren Gray's goal has been to please her parents. But as high school graduation nears, so does an uncomfortable realization: Pleasing her parents once overlapped with pleasing herself, but now . . . not so much. Wren needs to honor her own desires, but how can she if she doesn't even know what they are? Charlie Parker, on the other hand, is painfully aware of his heart's desire. A gentle boy with a troubled past, Charlie has loved Wren since the day he first saw her. But a girl like Wren would never fall for a guy like Charlie -- at least not the sort of guy Charlie believes himself to be. And yet certain things are written in the stars. And in the summer after high school, Wren and Charlie's souls will collide. But souls are complicated, as are the bodies that house them . . . Sexy, romantic, and oh-so-true to life, this is an unforgettable look at first love from one of young adult fiction's greatest writers.

Lauren Myracle continues to be my favourite author. If you are a teen girl, you will probably love this book. It's my favourite book. I'm not a big reader, but this one sure got me hooked!

I hated, hated, hated this book. The relationship between Wren and Charlie was cheesy, stupid, and pretentious, they have no real personalities, and- ugh. Just don't bother reading this book, I don't even know if it was worth one star.

I really did not enjoy this book. I was expecting something a little more Dessen-esque, and so maybe I went in with the wrong expectations.
I feel this book lacked any real depth and the characters were too foolish for me to like them. Charlie felt much too possessive for me to really like his character (plus he called Wren 'Baby' and I hate that). Wren was too 'in love' to see much reason and acted like a five year old for a lot of the book.
I don't know what age group this good is best for since it has too many intimate scenes for young readers but is too immature for the older ones.
All in all, if you're looking for a book that's an easy read this is a pretty good one, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I think it was to sexual for me, but I loved it so much!! Wren girl stop thinking that you will get Charlie to drop all his stuff and take care of you. If you want to read this book it was really a page turner. Just wish it was not a third person kind of book, first person would have been better.. :)

I did not likee this book. OF COURSE Charlie would choose family over you, Wren! I was annoyed about how Wren expected Charlie to go to Guatemala with her. I am a big fan of Lauren Myracel, but was incredibly dissapointed with this book.

A little cliche but a fun, quick summer read.

Easy little love story. Both main characters had their own issues that they were dealing with and it was clear that it affected their relationship.

I really liked this book, and while the female character was demanding of her boyfriend, you could tell that he did love her. She was only feeling insecure and jealous. If you liked The Fault In Our Stars, you will probably like this book too.

Coarse Language: The F word is said throughout the book and so are other mild swears.

Violence: There's mentions of child abuse, and one scene in particular where someone attempts to end their life.

Sexual Content: The author describes the two main characters having sex several times throughout the book in vaguely erotic detail. (There's enough description to know what's happening, and at some points it's almost pornographic).
