This book gives an in-depth overview of how to create stop-motion Lego animations. A wide-range of topics is covered, including setting up the camera, choosing shots (which can get quite technical), building backgrounds, and changing out the faces of the Lego characters to help enhance your storyline.

Though much of book focuses on complex filmmaking, the suggestions given are simple enough for children to understand, yet equally helpful for adults. The tips given encourage learning without overwhelming younger filmmakers. To help you choose the best film editing software for your price range, the author provides the pros and cons of the three most-used Lego stop-motion software options, including Dragonframe.

This is a great stop-motion video editing book, and could easily be used by anyone looking to learn stop-motion. Using expensive Legos is completely optional.
