A fantastic new read by Mo Willems! This book had me laughing out loud as I read it, and was immediately placed in my queue for Family Story Time! Classic Mo Willems humour with a terrific and hilarious rhyming scheme.

Alison says "The rhymes are terrific and the theme is universal; that moment when you realize you’ve done something wrong and you worry and worry (and wonder about moving to Tibet) before it’s time to face the music. Another Mo Willems classic."

The rhymes are awesome and the theme is universal. You do something wrong and worry and worry (and contemplate moving to Tibet) before you finally face the music.

This clever rhyming scheme and ridiculous situational humour will change the way you look at baguette forever!

In Nanette's Baguette, a girl and her mother bond over their love of carbs. What more could you possibly want from a story?!

Mo Willems is a national treasure! Another great book! Great story, rhymes, and illustrations! A must read! (PS- have a warm crusty baguette ready for eating after storytime! KRACK!)

What a great rhyming book from our favorite author, Mo Willems. Read this book with your preschooler and visit a local bakery such as Wheatfields to have your own cracking experience of delicious, crunchy baguettes!

This is a fun book for anyone to read if you can control your laughing. Trying to read all the rhyming is a bit of a challenge, but not without a lot of laughing and giggling from everyone in the room. My grandchildren's mother was laughing from the next room while I was trying to not get tongue tied reading the verse. This will get anyone in a good mood. Maybe good for a gift to someone sick; or better, read it to them after giving them the book. Great add to home libraries.

Even as Mo Willems has become a commodity to be merchandised, it is delightful to see him writing and illustrating in a fresh vein (even rhyming in creative ways throughout the text!). Don't take your clarinet to Tibet...

Will Nanette get a baguette? You'll have to read the story to find out!

If you like this type of rhyme book (I SURE DO!) you should check out A Boy and His Bunny, by Sean Bryan.

A silly adventure about being trusted alone on an errand ... but what really makes this one magical is how Willems masterfully creates a story using a single rhyme (the -et family) and it just rolls off the tongue. Read it aloud!

A delightfully witty story about the temptations of freshly baked bread. Another classic Mo Willems.
