Not one of his best films. Had to stop, could not watch in one sitting.

Dragged out slow story. Found myself drifting off while watching the movie. Also, it was difficult to get into the illusion of the story at the beginning. Unfortunately, it is not until the ending that everything comes together. That is when you have an understanding that what you are watching is partially the delusion of a victim. The victim needs the delusion to cover her guilt and shame to be able to survive years of abuse by her father. One event is what pushes her over the edge into the fantasy world she has developed for herself. OK movie not great.

Very dark detective mystery. Has unusual, unexplained events that meet at the end of the story. Interesting twist on what we do in our own minds sometimes to accept reality. Good, but not great. But it held my interest.

I expected a better movie from Keanu. This movie is really boring. He is better in action movies.

Succinct "Summary" above. My take - when investigating the murder of his partner, a lonely and damaged detective "exposed" the dark secrets of a self-absorbed young woman and criminal elements in the Washington Heights and Bronx communities. As written on the DVD cover - "Some Secrets Are Better Left Buried." A decent multilayered crime story that the people and events were not at all apparent until the final scenes.

Weird. Two actors from "Knock Knock". Crazy or gifted? You be the judge. Disappointing Keanu film.

What a bad movie. A lot is in Spanish and I has to look it up in Wikepedia to figure out the plot.

Yeah... Charlene's a little worried about you.
-Tell her I'm fine.
Really?
-Yeah.
Your partner was just killed. You're not fine.
===
Do you think Elisa's okay?
-I don't know...
I wonder if she's okay at home.
-Who?
Elisa.
-Who?
Elisa. I suspect something is not okay. I don't know...
===
If you want to leave, you can leave. But it ain't no good being alone. ... Your wife is dead, my husband's dead.
===
Since I was little, I always loved the name Elisa. And I told all my friends to call me that. You have a very, very beautiful name. Let's go. Let's go.
-Yes, Isabel.
===
Isabel... Why are you here?
-Everything is okay, Elisa. Everything is okay.
