Beautiful art work is rich and inviting. Action and depth are cleverly, subtly portrayed. Heavy weight, textured paper feels good in your hand and compliments the earthy colors. You will want to look long at each picture and the more you look the more you will see. The text is minimal, informative and accessible with interesting facts. The picture index is a treat too. A book to read and reread, for all ages.

This is a great picture book for children who love animals but the adults will appreciate the fabulous art work.
