That's the way the cookie crumbles!

Yum! Our magic mirror has dropped me and my brother, Jonah, into the story of Hansel and Gretel. If we're lucky, we may even get to taste the cake-house...

But we didn't count on accidentally getting trapped. The real Hansel and Gretel are on the run, and Jonah and I have taken their place. And the witch is making a kid casserole for dinner...

Now we have to:
- Avoid being eaten
- Pretend our dog is a cat
- Learn to make kale smoothies
- Befriend a talking duck

Or we may never make it back to our home sweet home!

This story was quite funny! I also loved the theme, how Abby and Jonah learned they actually had lots to be thankful for.

I really enjoyed this book, Sugar and Spice, even more so than others. I can't wait for the next, though after this, my expectations are high.

Sugar and Spice was good but not as AMAZING as the others. Usually I'm the one not up for fantasy but his had me. I like this because its about fairy tales which I somewhat like combined with reality which I really liked. I would recommend which to everyone!

“Mom and Dad were mean tonight. No friends. No fun. No fruitcake. And I didn’t even want fruitcake! It’s the worst dessert ever! But they still wouldn’t let us have it. How is that fair?”
