I thought I was going to love this book...but so slow and repetitive. I actually just stopped reading it and returned it to the library. Not worth reading.

This memoir about the author's crushing depression, her traumatic childhood, and how she was able to recover herself with the help of her parents, medication, and most of all, her beloved dog Bunker was so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. Anyone who loves dogs will really love this book. Have the Kleenex ready. Dogs forever!
