Social worker Lucy McKane will do whatever it takes to protect the infant boy entrusted to her care. I love Julie Miller's series books. Characters from past stories pop up in the new books and it feels like you are home, visiting friends and places that are familiar. APB: Baby was very well written, the story was intriguing and the characters were very likable. I would definitely recommend this book to friends and it can be read as a stand alone story without reading any of her prior books in the series although you might enjoy it more if you do.
