The ending was beautifully tragic. That was an amazing way to end the novel, and maybe the only true way to end the story. Definatly recommend to read!

I liked how the book was written, but everything was so predictable. I guessed everything that happened in the book. There were no surprises at all. The ending could have been better, like if they continued to switch the soul back and forth so they could live equally the same. But overall, it was ok. I like the romantic parts in the book.

Hmm...well, I was really liking this book until about 3/4 of the way through. Then the storyline just went downhill pretty quick. I was so disappointed with the ending as it just didn't fit with the rest of the book. Overall, I liked it - but I just did not like the ending, it was sorta "meh".

This was an awesome book! It grabs you and pulls you in from the very beginning, and doesn't let you go! When I wasn't reading this book, I was thinking about it, and I'm sure it'll take awhile for this book to leave my mind. The only slightly negative thing about this book was that it was pretty fast paced and could sometimes be slightly confusing, but that just adds to the mystery, and is not necessarily a bad thing. There are so many good things about this book, like romance, comedy, forbidden relationships, mysteries, secrets, curses, magic, and so on. There are so many things I want to say about this book, but part of what makes this book so great is the mystery, so you'll just have to read this book yourself. I highly recommend this book! You will not be disappointed! I don't rate too make books 5 stars, so that just shows how much I loved this book! According to Wikipedia, there is a sequel called Life Eternal coming out sometime this year, which I am very excited for! But, according to Good reads, it comes out in February 2012.

As the first book of the author's career, it jump-started Yvonne Woon's writing career. I really enjoyed this book. it was very romantic and full of mystery. It was almost a perfect book. The ending was powerful and the story had enough suspense for the readers to keep reading. On an overall evaluation, this book was an enjoyable read.

I absolutely loved this book! It left a couple loose ends though. I really hope she writes a sequel! I would read it in a hearbeat! I think this is the type of book for anybody who loves suspence! I couldnt put it down!

Another very unique book. Introduces supernatural creatures most books don't mention. I wasn't a fan of the ending though

This is a great book, one that is hard to put down. I am pretty sure the author is writing a sequel, which I cannot wait for. I have to disagree with zerg000, because I do not think that the boy is anything like Edward Cullen.

"Why are you doing this? I want you to be alive." "Because." he said, tracing a finger along my cheek. "Real love is selfless."
